Most frequent questions and answers

Often called a Rage Room or Anger Room, a Smash Room is a fun place to break and smash things in a controlled space without having to do any of the clean up.

A fun place to bring your friends, family, inner child and fling paint around. You get a canvas to splatter paint on as well as the walls, floor and even each other. You get to take your canvas home and we clean up the mess.

Absolutely! We offer a BYOB package for $25 per person. You get 25 minutes & are allowed one medium sized box (around 21″x15″x16″) per person.

SMASH ROOM – Ages 13 & up may participate. Those that are 13-17 years of age must have a parent or guardian in the room with them. Parents or guardian will vouch for the age of the minor. A signed release is required by all participants. 

If you have issues with your immune system, the Smash room may not be a good choice. Breaking items does create a lot of dust.

SPLATTER ROOM – Ages 4+ are welcome to participate however those under the age of 8 are required to have a parent or guardian in the room with them the entire time. A signed release is required by all participants.

We love donations! You are welcome to drop off any glass (especially bottles) or electronic items (batteries must be removable) during our normal business hours. We do not accept furniture, appliances, anything flammable, light bulbs, aerosol can, snow globes, batteries, tube TV’s or monitors, anything explosive, poisonous or toxic. Printers are accepted on a limited basis. When in doubt, contact us.

It is always best to make a reservation online through our booking page. We will accept walk-ins if there are availabilities.

SMASH ROOM – Closed toe shoes are required (no crocs, sandals, flip flops, flats). We recommend comfortable long pants. Coveralls, hard hats & gloves are provided.

SPLATTER ROOM – Please wear clothes & shoes you don’t mind getting paint on. We use Tempera paint which is washable but it can stain clothes. Shoe covers, ponchos & shower caps are provided but it is still possible to get paint on your clothes especially if you are wearing long pants or skirts. 

SMASH ROOM – Unfortunately we can not allow one who is pregnant to participate in the Smash room for the safety of you & your baby.

SPLATTER ROOM – We use a non toxic tempera paint so you are welcome to participate as long as you have cleared the activity with your doctor.

Yes, please bring your photo ID. Parents or Guardians will verify the ages of those under the age of 18.

For your safety & and those in the room with you, we do not allow participants to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We reserve the right to deny access to those we feel are under the influence & a cancellation fee may be processed.

Yes, you may take video & photos while you are in the room. Splatter & Smash is not responsible for any damaged or lost personal items. We do sell flash drives with the video of your session for $10.

SMASH ROOM ONLY – Themed rooms may be available, but are subject to our current inventory.

If you have a special request, give us a call and we will see what we can do.

Theme ideas: Grinchmas (Christmas themed breakables only), Are You Superstitious (mirrors, etc.)

Examples of what kind of items could be in each size category.

Small Glass, Plastic & Electronics – Mugs, glasses, cups, small plates, beer bottles, figurines, Christmas ornaments, wifi routers, phones, alarm clocks, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, remotes, toys

Medium Glass, Plastic & Electronics – Larger plates, vases, wine/liquor bottles, larger figurines, DVD players, small stereo equipment, desk clocks, keyboards, tablets, toys

Large Glass, Plastic & Electronics – Punch bowls, large vases, serving platters, computers, VHS players, printers, TV’s 32″ & under, mirrors, lamps, stereo equipment, laptops, trash cans, toys

Specialty Items – TV’s 34″ & up, tables, windshields, large mirrors, furniture, shower doors, windows. These are just examples as the specialty items vary based on what we have on hand.

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled time in order to receive a refund.

There is a 50% Cancellation Fee if cancellations are made less than 48 hours before your scheduled time.

NO refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment. 

NO refunds for “no call, no shows.” You forfeit your room and time if later than 15 mins and are considered a “no show.”
